Mar Vista Certified Farmers’ Market is a bustling, transient town square that is open every Sunday from 9-2, rain or shine. It features numerous farmers making the trek from all over California to bring fresh- picked and dried fruit, nuts, berries, greens, mushrooms, veggies, grass-fed meats and cheeses , sustainably raised chicken, pork, lamb, goat milk and other offerings direct from the farm.  Also offered are fresh-squeezed juices and sustainably caught, wild local seafood from the waters off California.  

The popular food emporium also has a wide range of prepared offerings. Grab a seat under one of the dining tents or take it to go.

Try Chinese dumplings, falafals, pupusas, tacos, bánh mì, curries, crepes, omelets, waffles, BBQ, salads and the Lobstah Truck!   Try the pre-packaged foods to take home for later or eat along the way. Vegan, plant-based, and prepared foods in a jar are plentiful: cashew-based cheeses, probiotic coconut yogurts, bread, and ayurvedic offerings – plus the best sheep’s milk Greek yogurt you’ll ever taste.  Pickles, organic teas, hummus, hand-made pastas and organic fair-trade chocolate. The list goes on.
