Farmers Market Update Blast!
* Expanded hours on August 5
On August 5, when the Mar Vista Farmers Market celebrates its first anniversary in concert with the bigger Mar Vista Celebrates! 80th celebration, it will run till 3:00 p.m. instead of its usual 2:00.
*Expanded Market for Fab Finds & Fun
In addition to the usual delectable array of farm-fresh organic produce and scrumptious prepared food, visitors will find treasures by local artisans and vendors:
- crafted jewelry
- antiques
- pottery
- clothing
- hand made soaps and lotions
- plants
- and more!
For children there will be face painting, henna tattoo artists, balloons, a petting zoo, a “bouncy house,” and Smart Space children’s recycled art workshop.
*Entertainment
Entertainment will include musical performances by Super Broke and the Super Heroes Brass and Tin Marching Ensemble and LA Boyz.
The Mar Vista Farmers Market will dove-tail into the Mar Vista Celebrates! community block party, so the fun will keep going all the way down Grand View Avenue starting at Venice Blvd!
